Pasta Making

I've been wanting to try to make my own pasta for awhile now and with Nonna going away for who knows how long I decided last week I better get the tools (ie the pasta maker my great grandfather got from Italy) and advice before she goes. So after a visit to Nonna to get sorted Steve and I had a go at it yesterday. With tasty results! I think Nonna would be proud!

It started like this....

Kneaded it to this....

Rolled it flat through the pasta maker....

Again through the pasta maker to achieve fettuccine like results....

and left to dry....

Then taken to Mum and Lyall's where we were having dinner before Steve's graduation (see previous post) and eaten. Have no photos of the actual end result (cooked with sauce etc) but I think it was yummy! Will definitely do this again :-)
