Steve completed his Diploma of Youth Work toward the end of last year and last night they had the graduation ceremony. So leaving a sick, teething baby with Nanna and Pa we headed off in to the city (out of sorts with each other I might add!) to basically pick up his certificate. Turned out to be a good night - brief formal ceremony bit (a plus for tired parents) and then some food and drink afterwards (a plus for anyone, anywhere) so not feeling as out of sorts with each other we headed back to pick up our William after a quick stop off for some celebratory ice cream :-)

I'm proud of you my Steve and and will remember for a long time the many nights, middle of the nights and early mornings listening to you tapping away at the computer on one assignment or another while I sat feeding William in the next room then stumbling to you when William was fed and both of us stumbling back to bed to catch a bit more sleep! Love you.
