Christmas Day Continued

Christmas Day continued with a drive to Sydney to Steve’s Uncle Howard and Aunty Catrina’s place for lunch. It was a wonderfully yummy lunch and was great to spend some time with the extended family. I’ve never had a Christmas lunch minus the pasta, Nonna’s potato salad and salami but I tell you what – the ham, pork and multitude of other scrumptious dishes and desserts were to die for! Catrina - you're a legend!
The absolute star of the day - Catrina! Thanks for having us - it was amazing, from the food to the decorations and everything in between!

Grandma kept a check on her 13 or so grandkids - no easy task!

Steve with his cousin Bec - though looking more like
brother and sister than cousins I reckon.

Very well behaved before lunch..........

Things disintegrated fairly quickly though :-)

There's no fighting genetics! Kev and Grandad

Steve and I - our last Christmas before we are three!

What's Grandma's secret?? They're all there in the kitchen (except Uncle Trevor who had already left) and I can vouch for all the post Christmas lunch cleaning up and cups of tea and coffee that were made. Though from all those cheeky grins I'm sure Grandma had her work cut out for her! (and the rumour is that Trevor's the cheekiest of all!)
My view of the back seat on the drive home

And what would Christmas day be without a spot of pilates to finish it off?
Normal perhaps??

I don't know either Snickers - but we should be safe if we avoid eye contact!
