Soccer with Isaac

Isaac came with us to watch Steve play soccer last Saturday. I think he's checking the whole soccer deal out because he told me the other day that he's going to play soccer "when I'm in grade one and maybe Uncle Steve can teach me." So weighed down with chairs and snacks, Isaac and I set up camp on the sidelines to watch. It was so much fun sitting there with Isaac and listening to him quietly chant under his breath, "Go Uncle Steve! Go Uncle Steve!." Both Isaac and Snickers did very well on the snack front - I had bought biscuits, almonds, sandwiches and fruit for us to eat (and we did) however there were people from the games before us having a sausage sizzle and Snickers got in on that action. There was also an abundance of mum's with containers of lollies and chips who offered them to Isaac whenever they walked past and of course Isaac couldn't pass that up! So we were considerably well fed and I had to go confess to Isaac's parents that he might not exactly eat all his dinner! I also let Isaac loose with the camera and he was so cute wandering around with the camera hanging from his neck snapping somewhere in the vicinity of 60 or so photos! The wonders of digital!

It was a bit hot out in the sun and me not being a fully qualified mum yet didn't think of such things as hats so my jacket had to do :-)

Our camera is a bit heavy which could account for the lopsided-ness of this Isaac original.
