Relle had surgery on her ankle a couple of weeks ago (how she got the broken ankle is a story in itself................) Anyway the stitches needed to come out while she was up here on holidays - no need for a doctor or sterile conditions here - all we need is some betadine swabs, paper towel, tweezers and a little random medical tool we found in the first aid kit! Add in Dr.Steve performing surgery, patient Relle giving advice on how to perform said surgery and photographer Em laughing hysterically and you have one exciting medical procedure! Look out Grey's Anatomy we're coming!

I dont think we should be giving success stories till she's lived for at least a week or two afterwards. They always end up with septicemia (sp?) in the movies and don't make it. Sorry Relle.
