In-laws? Who'd have 'em??

ME!! Because mine are AWESOME!! Steve's parents are fantastic. A few weeks ago there was a long weekend (as I mentioned in the previous post) Being in charge of a church obviously means they work Sundays so they didn't really get the full long weekend. However, even though they live four hours away they drove down to us Sunday after church and stayed the night and then drove back the next day. Just cos they love us. These are my two favourite photos from their short but very welcome visit!

An additional story to on this same subject - (let me pain the picture) Savannah not quite two weeks old. Steve away on a trip with friends of which we still do not speak. Mum and Lyall away. Dinner time. Savannah crying. William still getting his head around what on earth has happened to his world. Me crying my eyes out. Skype rings. William answers. It's Heather. I try and hide for a little while but eventually am on Skype bawling my eyes out for about an hour. She says she will leave immediately and come down to help me. I try and convince her that we'll be fine (unconvincingly I think due to the tears) She stays on Skype with me till I calm down and come up with a plan for handling the evening. I find out the next morning that she had got up at some crazy hour to drive down but some rather critical obstacles arose that stopped her. Not everyone can boast such a supportive mum-in law :-)
