Those of you who know me, my sister, my mother, my Nonna, my cousins, and/or my aunts you will know that we possess a mutant gene that makes us consume cups of tea at great rate. Seriously - a 10 minute drop in visit to Nonna's has the potential to fit in at least 3 cups :-) Anyway - a bit of a standing thing between Kate and I is discussing how "good it'll be when our kids are old enough to make us tea." Alas her gorgeous boy is eight, and very capable of pulling together a nice cup of tea and I have been privileged to experience this when at their place working in the office. My boy is yet to pass his second birthday so I have refrained from trying to teach him to pour boiling water in to a tea cup. However - this morning he burst in to the bedroom for his morning cuddle then quite out of the blue said "hot tea?" (I don't usually have a cuppa in bed, I just make one when I have breakfast) Steve says, "Great idea Will - let's make Mummy a cup of tea in bed." So I relaxed and my boys soon served me up a nice hot cup of tea in bed. And while the boiling water is still a little beyond William at this point - I have it on good authority that he opened the tea bag packet and put the tea bag in the cup! What a little man!
My first cup of tea from my little boy.
Blessed much?

Good on you William, cousin Isaac can teach you the finer points of tea making in a few years time. xxx
