Now I know everyone who really knows me is going "ummmm it's rather unlike Emma to post on any deep thought provoking issues - this'll be interesting..." and they would be right. This is in fact a post on toilet training :-)
Call us crazy (or to be fair, call Steve crazy - it was his stupid idea!) but we have plunged head first in to the toilet training umm shall we say - situation? Why have we done this? I have no idea as I don't mind nappies, you take 'em off and throw 'em in the bin - easy. However, Daddy, in his infinite wisdom decided the time had come, so me being the supportive, dutiful wife *snort* went wholeheartedly *snort* along with it.
So how did it go and how does it continue to go you may ask? Well, after the first two days it started going really well. From Wednesday morning until Thursday afternoon no accidents :-) But since then, while I wouldn't say we're in a steady decline, it hasn't been like a perfect toileting situation but we're managing. He's in undies during the day and a pull up at night. I put my foot down over the "undies at night thing" My baby sleeps for 12 uninterrupted hours a night - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
This photo is of our first (and only one to date, I should say) public accident :-) We were in ordering dinner at the take away shop when I felt something slightly warm start to spread across my shirt. Dashing in to the car park not sure what to do, I thought he was finished and set him on the ground next to the car to change him - and he let loose - I think the kid wee'd his body weight - no matter - I'm still proud of him and love him to bits :-)

Em, love all these posts. You put me to shame. I was going to start blogging tonight but now I'm thoroughly depressed because I'll never catch up ;) Now when anyone asks why haven't I blogged I can blame you.
ps. I love the picture of the wee.
