Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful........

1. That it's Steve’s birthday tomorrow and I can give him the presents I have been hiding since............yesterday :-)

2. For “at home” days with William. Even though today’s “at home” day has been a bit tedious due to annoying neighbours and leaf blowers blowing leaves that aren’t even there and if they were there it’s windy and they’re going to blow back in 6 seconds anyway and even if that wasn’t the case it’s a church car park for crying out loud! Deal with a few leaves and stop leaf blowing for hours on end while my baby’s trying to sleep and I’ve got a headache!!!! Whew! That feels better! For the most part I love being home and hanging out with the boy.

3. That I saw Beck’s blog reminding me that it was thankful Thursday and challenging me to say what I’m thankful for because let’s just say I wasn’t feeling very thankful due to aforementioned leaf blowers and non existent leaves.

4. For Euky Bearub. The little boy has had a cough this week and after Saturday night of my heart jumping every time he coughed I am very thankful for Marcia letting us try her Euky Bearub when we there Sunday night. It worked a treat we bought our own on Monday and his cough seems to have settled down.

5. For the mess of baby toys, dirty nappies and chuck cloths on the living room floor. Whenever I feel down on myself for letting the place get messy or am tempted to complain about it, I try and change it to thinking about the reasons why it’s messy. I quickly remember that one of the reasons is our precious William and then I can’t help but look at the disarray with a smile and think about the fun I’ve had playing with him right in the middle of that mess and I am thankful that I didn’t stop playing just to clean up.

Euky Bear Rub is the best! I even use it! I love at home days too, although I get a bit sick of them at times when they have been far too many but overall, I love them... ok like them, ok love them ha ha!

I think it's called cabin fever being stuck at home. But like you said what a great reason to hate leaf blowers. Baby baby and more baby. They don't come easy but they always come messy
