Steve has been growing tomatoes in the vege garden and due to it being a roaring success - we now have an abundance of tomatoes gracing our kitchen bench. The pile has grown since I took these photos - Steve wants to try making tomato soup and I'm thinking of using them to make spaghetti sauce - which leaves the question of what to do with the other several thousand?

You can stew them in a big pot (just chop the tomatoes and then put them in a saucepan with a tiny bit of water). Then freeze it in tiny batches, and you have diced tomatoes for whenever you want to make spaghetti or soup or casseroles or anything!!! I did this with my tomatoes!
