Well we have had a very eventful week in terms of weather. I thought William and I would have to break out the paddles and start rowing on Wednesday. It POURED constantly for at least 24 hours - not just a heavy shower then stop and start again; constant heavy rain. It was beautiful! Though probably not so beautiful for the people who actually got flooded. Thankfully our house sits at the top of a hill - I think next door nearly had their backyard washed away and the people behind us didn't fare much better - I felt a little guilty looking out and seeing all the water in our yard drain away into theirs............William, myself and a pathetic Snickers stayed inside!
