Okay. I have a little problem with Mother's Day. There's no "Sorry you can't have a baby, even though you want one," Day and so to me all Mother's Day really accomplishes, is to make life just that little bit harder and sadder for those of us who have trouble having kids. I find it a pointless day - women are special and amazing regardless of whether they are a mother or not and I did not enjoy people gushing over me and William when they might possibly ignore or exclude someone else just because they don't have a kid. I was going to rant on a bit more than that but I will step off my soapbox for now as Steve, William and the rest of the family spent the day spoiling me despite my "humbug" view and I have a few photos to share.

Everyone needs a bit of soapbox now and then :) xo
Thank you for your soapbox gorgeous. Can't say I was a happy camper yesterday - but your post helped.
xoxo
Hi Emma
I'm Leonie Moore's Aunt and I sometimes read your blog. Just wanted to congratulate you on acknowledging those women out there who struggle to become Mothers. I was one of them - but thanks to IVF I have a little boy called Willem. Mother's Day can be so difficult - so thanks for recognizing that.
By the way - your little Will is just lovely.
Adele
