Sleeping Habits

First things first - before anyone reports me to child services for sleeping my baby on his tummy -
1. He loves it
2. The paediatrician said that it's fine because he is so strong
3. We only do it during the day when we're checking on him often.

That cleared up - I got these photos of him the other day as he looked so peaceful and had squirmed himself over to the side of the cot and flopped his arm out the side. He is getting more mobile everyday and squirms around the place. We have gone in to feed him at night and he has turned 180 degrees from where we originally put him - wrapped up tight, on his back and everything!

Oh Emma... you are turning into a most sensible mother.... I wouldn't have even told the paediatrician. He looks so comfortable! Take comfort all my babies were tummy sleepers. You have a very cute little man! Keep up the good work! You are a great mum! talk soon. Heidi xoxo

Yay for the tummy sleeping Em!!!
Both my boys were tummy sleepers - they wouldn't settle into a deep sleep while on their backs, hence we had a horrible time while in hospital and couldn't wait to get them home so we wouldn't get "in trouble"!!!

Now, the three year old still sleeps bum up in the air and the 6 month old sleeps through, night after night. On his tummy, with the monitor on and a few checks throughout the night, of course :)

At the end of the day, you've just got to do what works best for your baby...
