Soon there will be two....................

babies for Steve to put to bed! Most nights, after dinner Snickers is allowed in on his "inside bed" until we go to bed. He likes his inside time, to say the least - in fact - we can't get him out! Generally he acts like he is suddenly paralysed. Literally - we can stand him up to walk out and he'll fall over - he won't get up on his own. So how this happened I don't know; but we got into the habit of carrying him out - yes carrying, it's tragic I know. I can't lift him at the best of times, so it's up to Steve really to get the "baby" off to bed!

This is him doing his best "pleading" look. (He was quite alert the night I took these - often he just keeps his eyes closed and tucks his nose under his paws and pretends that he is sleeping)

Our poor little "paralysed" puppy

No - Steve isn't kissing him in this one - just laying him gently on his bed
so as not to disrupt him too much from his sleeping position............

Settled in for the night without having to exert any of his own energy!

Oh Em, please tell me mum has not passed on The Gene that makes you lose all sense and reason. Repeat after me...Snickers is a dog...Snickers is a dog....He's a bout to get a big shove into reality, isn't he (if it ever comes out that is!) :p xo
