Pathology Staff Behaving Badly.............

Well it’s taken a week but last Saturday night we had our work Christmas party. We went out for dinner. This is actually the first Christmas party I’ve been to in seven years of working there! From memory all the other years I’ve either been working the night it was on, on holidays or sick.

I was a bit nervous about going but thankfully Rosie, Reese and Loree rocked up and drove me in! Thank guys!

Despite the torrential rain and lightning cracking down very close by it was a fun and relaxed night and very nice to hang out with everyone away from the stress of the lab. We could sit around and chat without the phone ringing constantly, the computer system going down or doctors complaining or asking dumb questions! I was glad to have this time with everyone before I finish up next week and embarking on my next adventure.............

The beautiful Loree and I
Rosie, Loree and Reese (Reese was our driver and put up with our constant verbal stream of conversation on a (how should I put this?) variety of ummmmmm........."colourful" topics............... :-)

This is a special photo. The first three people to know I was pregnant! Gary was the absolute first. See, one of the benefits of working in pathology lab is if you think you might be pregnant you can go in at 8pm and say "ummmm Loree can you take my blood and ummmmm Gary could you run a HCG?" and because they are nice they do it for you! Then when Gary tells you it's positive and you just about fall over and tell him you don't believe him he takes the time to run it on the machine and get a formal result for you. What a team!

Judy and I. (Shell bought a whole heap of glow sticks for us and I made a necklace just in case you're wondering what's around my neck)

Rosie and I with our boss Sandy (Loree named the baby "Bruce" and it caught on now my belly is affectionately called "Bruce" by everyone)

Rosie and Loree and I with a pole
(probably best not to ask about why we thought the pole was a good prop for the photo!) (and by "we" I mean Loree and Rosie - see I'm a "good girl") :-P
Reese with the girls

Steve came in to pick me up after his own work Christmas party
and we snapped a few shots with him

Steve and Reese with us gorgeous chicki babes - I really like this photo
