Steve's Hair

This is the result of some silliness that took over me last Wednesday night. One of the youth group kids recently suggested to Steve that he should have a go at straigtening his hair. As you may have noticed over the last few months, Steve's hair has been getting pretty long and it is very curly as well. I thought this straightening idea was hilarious and have been bugging him to let me do it for a few weeks now. So last Wednesday night after a fantastic day off (public holiday) where we stayed home all day, he let me straigten it. It was not easy - his curls are stubborn! I had to end up concentrating on the front because the back wasn't co-operating at all. I has to assure him a few times that it would be back to normal as soon as he wet it but that wasn't even neccessary - the curls are so strong that he just slept on it and it was pretty much same as always the next morning. Anyway it kept me amused for awhile - his challenge to me was to look at him without laughing - I can't honestly say that I succeeded :-)
